Administrative boundaries such as state or county boundaries are useful for managing policy and an important consideration when interpreting climate information.  In the same way, basin boundaries are useful for understanding the relationship between climate, the landscape, and natural systems in Montana. This map sheet represents the preferred geographic extent for Montana Climate Office data products.
